Vero's VR-6600 PRO is a dual-band (2 m/70 cm) mobile transceiver with a remote mount head, two separate VFOs and a total of 1000 memory channels. It also boasts wideband receive and a maximum power output of 50 Watts.

The remote head has twin loudspeakers for optimum audio output, and the large, easy to read LCD display has eight selectable backlight colours.

A DTMF multi-function microphone is supplied, the major control functions can be accessed via the microphone buttons.

The radio also has a cross-band repeater facility, and separate volume contsol are provided for the left- and right VFO's.

A GPS/APRS add-on module can be purchased as an optional extra.
